More Randomness...
Jul. 25th, 2003 02:00 pmBook #37 ~Faking It by Jennifer Crusie
This was pretty good. It was romance without being too sugary. There was a bit of intrigue to make it pretty interesting.
Book #38~To The Nines by Janet Evanovich
As always I liked this next installment in the Stephanie Plum series, however, this was not up to Janet's usual standard. I expected it to be a little funnier and a little more adventerous. Usually I don't want to put her books down until I am finished reading. This one I could put down and did several times. Oh well, there is always #10!
Aside from reading, Jen came home from Mexico Sunday night. We finished her room Saturday night. We have it recorded on tape and her reaction was priceless! She was sooo excited! It made all the late nights of working after already working our regular jobs worth it. The best was when she says "This is so Trading Spaces!" That was perfect, since we were doing a whole Trading Spaces tape for her. We videotaped ourselves along each step and did the whole color reveal, the budget thing and all the rest!
Anyway, I am glad she is home...not only did we miss her, but it is a little scary to have your 13 year old daugther traveling to a different country.
Well...Happy Friday Everyone!! :-)
