Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This...

So, I went to the fridge here at work and retrieved a Diet Coke...I have been wanting it for an hour or so, but used it as my reward for finishing a project. When I finish the project, I can go get the Diet Coke...yes, I make deals with myself...I have to motivate me somehow!

Anyway, I bring it back to my desk, sit down, put hand lotion on my hands...and can't open my drink!

I'm telling you, some days are just like that!!!

(Yes, I wiped off the hand lotion so I could open my drink and re-applied)

I have been knitting a scarf over the past 3 weeks...I received the Stitch N Bitch book for Christmas so I thought I would start with the scarf.

(The pattern called it a 2 hour project, I call it a 3 week project)

Anyway, I am finally ready to end the scarf...it was a double yarn, all garter stitch scarf. I looked for my book last night to learn how to bind off. Low and behold...it has gone missing! I've looked everywhere!!! Really!!! It is just GONE!

I may be retiring from knitting before I've even begun! Or...I may be frivolous and just buy a new one, I can always give one as a gift if I ever find it!
