*Whenever the Shakira - Hips Don't Lie song comes on the radio at work I just want to dance...and I have 2 left feet!!
*Jen and I went to a college fair last night...she's wavering between University of Iowa and Eastern Michigan University...neither of them meet *my* requirements of In State and Cheap!! We shall see. I told her that she must get MANY scholarships to be able to attend either!! *Her* requirements are...they have her program, they are far from home and they have her friend Heather's program and they both get accepted. Any speech and hearing pathologists here on LJ?? Deaf educators???
*House - still no showings...PRAY!!!! (please!)
*Job - got an email yesterday from a potential employee asking if I could come in to meet with them, I respond via email and haven't heard from them since! Weird! I'm giving it through this afternoon and then I will call to confirm they received my email.
*Not a great time to finally get a job interview as I'm scheduled to have foot surgery on Oct. 13 and it will be a good 2-3 weeks before I can walk well. No high heels for a bit for sure!
*We were supposed to travel to Minnesota to visit my MIL this coming weekend, we had to postpone due to Joe's work schedule...We are now going for Thanksgiving instead. Leaves me with a completely empty weekend!!! YAY!! I cannot wait! I may actually get to work on some Christmas gifts.
