Gift Ideas

OK, I'm a procrastinator.

We meet with a young newlywed couple (23 yrs oldish) each Monday evening. They come over for dinner and we either watch football or play games. We started this because we discovered that they have no family in the area (all out of state) and they like the older, longer married, adult interaction.

Anyway, this past Monday they brought us a Christmas gift. We had ordered an ornament for them, but didn't get anything else yet. So...I need ideas. I thought about a game, but know that they have quite a few. Do you have any ideas of a game that might be fun, but off the beaten path, so to speak? Or...a different idea. I don't want to spend more than $30.

That was my inital thought too. I know they have Apples to Apples (we play it with them all the time), I think they have Cranium.

I know they don't have Scattegories, because we were just talking about it last week...I think that is what they got us...I shook the box.

Would it be silly to get them that, even though I think that's what they got us???

Under $30? Well, as a newly-married couple ourselves, Alex and I have loved getting beautifully carved photo frames. You can find a nice one (an 8x10 or 11x14) for that price and I am sure they'll find good use for it as they must have tons of wedding photos they need to frame.
